Entering into the Fall season many of us are looking forward to many of our favorite traditions: the start of school, football, the changing of the leaves, and gathering for Holidays. Even though it may look different this year due to COVID 19, we as a community and neighbors can still come together to ensure our health and safety while enjoying this time of the year.

On Saturday, September 26, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, the Kearns Community Council is doing another Mask Up Kearns event at the Kearns Senior Center (Eddie P. Mayne Kearns Senior Center) at 4851 West 4715 South. Here free washable Kearns masks will be handed out to both residents and businesses. I encourage everyone to take advantage of the Mask Up Kearns event and remind your family and friends how vital it is to wear a mask to ultimately end this pandemic. I especially urge parents to take their kids to this event and remind them that wearing masks help protect their teachers and fellow classmates. Remember, we’re in this together and by the end my hope is we can be a stronger community.
